SUSTAINABLE WEARABLE ART PIECES

In our Atelier we upcycle Japanese kimono Obi belts, dead-stock vintage fabrics into contemporary wearable Art pieces. Through each piece we want to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity. Our corsets are a fusion of traditional Japanese luxurious silk Obi fabrics and historical European corset wear.

As fashion is the second most polluting industry in the world – we strive to fully upcycle every vintage Kimono Obi Belt & dead-stock Japanese fabrics, and transform them into Art pieces. We wanted to create a brand that would promote sustainability and celebrate creativity.

We have limited Read-to-Wear pieces and Made-to-Order available.

Kimono Obi

In Japanese Culture, OBI (帯) is considered an important part of traditional attire and is often chosen carefully to complement the Kimono it is worn with. It is also an element that can be used to express individual style and taste.

Our mission is to not only create enduring clothing from Kimono Obis & dead-stock fabrics but also to preserve the rich Japanese culture.
