The Upcycled Obi Corset has been re-constructed from a vintage Japanese Kimono Obi belt by giving it a second life. The print features a cheerful orange flower in front and green&blue&beige prints on the side. The corset is a fusion of traditional Japanese luxurious silk obi fabric and historical European corset wear.

Details: Unlined structure with grommets at center back.
Material: The corset is 100% upcycled Silk. The ribbons/ bows are 100% Polyester.
Care Instructions: Dry cleaning only (Obi is made from silk and any interaction with water can result in fabric quality or color change)

About OBI Corset:
Each design is uniquely upcycled, these one-of-a-kind pieces are special and unique to each individual. The corset is made from an antique Kimono Obi belt and even though we do not know when exactly this belt was made, the kimono professionals date it to be from Showa period, 1920s to 1990s.
NOTE: This is a made-to-order item so shipping may take a little longer ( 2-3 weeks) than you are used to. Please anticipate a total of 4 weeks till your order arrives. This is to ensure that we’re only making what is needed and preventing waste.
